Elizabeth Moran is a trial lawyer who is dedicated to helping people who have been seriously injured or killed due to the negligence of others. Her primary focus is catastrophic personal injury litigation.

Elizabeth was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended the University of Houston for mechanical engineering where she was a member of the Spirit of Houston Marching Band and Cougar Brass. She went on to graduate from the University of Houston-Downtown, was on the Dean’s list for several semesters and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with Magna Cum Laude honors.

Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth spent over a decade working her way up in the legal field from receptionist to senior litigation paralegal/litigation manager. She was inspired to attend law school after assisting plaintiff trial lawyers in a three-week jury trial where a minor sustained a traumatic brain injury.

Elizabeth went on to attend South Texas College of Law while working full-time and obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence in December 2021. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in April 2022 and the State Bar of California in April 2023. While attending law school, Elizabeth was a varsity advocate at national mock trial tournaments, named to the Dean’s list multiple semesters and a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, Hispanic Law Students Association, AMICUS and ACLU. Elizabeth won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Civil Procedure as well as Opening Statement/Jury Argument, receiving the highest grade in those courses.

In just her first couple of years practicing law, Elizabeth tried 16 civil jury trials, 5 of which she was the first chair attorney, and has taken hundreds of depositions including defense corporate representatives and defense experts.

When Elizabeth is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her friends and her dog Riley, attending sporting events and concerts, and traveling.
