Javier (Javi) Perez is an Associate Attorney at Kherkher Garcia. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Javi focuses his practice as a Trial Lawyer with a focus on catastrophic personal injury cases as well as general civil and commercial litigation matters at the state and federal level. Javi is a fierce litigator in the courtroom and works diligently with his clients to ensure they obtain justice for their injuries. His successes are guided by the core principles instilled in him during his time in the military – integrity, service, and excellence.

Javi was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas-Austin and from South Texas College of Law-Houston. During his time in law school, Javi was a member of the varsity moot court team and won Best Advocate, Best Brief and First place team in a nationwide competition. Javi was awarded the Outstanding Advocate award and is a member of the Order of the Barristers.

Prior to joining Kherkher Garcia, Javi was a Captain and Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force where he served as a prosecutor and eventually as an Area Defense Counsel (i.e. Public Defender) for Airmen and Guardians across the world. In these roles, Javi gained tremendous first chair trial experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. His philosophy in executing his duties as both a prosecutor and defense attorney was to “see that justice is done.”

Javi uses the lessons he has learned while serving our nation to fight for justice for each one of his clients. When Javi is not giving his all for his clients, you can find him spending time with his family and friends, volunteering with various Houston veterans groups, enjoying afternoon runs, or cheering on his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.
