BRUTUS, NY – Fifty-seven people were taken to area hospitals when a Niagara Falls tour bus overturned on I-90 in Cayuga County Saturday, according to The Daily Beast.

The wreck occurred on westbound-I-90 within the town of Brutus on the afternoon of August 14. New York State Police were on the scene by 4:05 p.m.

Photos taken at the crash site show a heavily damaged tour bus overturned on its side. The injured tourists included an unspecified number of children.

Information is unavailable concerning the cause of the incident.
