HOUSTON, TX – Two people were severely burned during a house fire in the Kingwood area late last night, according to KHOU.

The fire broke out at a two-story residence located near Northpark Drive and the Eastex Freeway in the 2000 block of Aspen Glade Drive at about 10 p.m.

One person was airlifted to the hospital with severe burn injuries. Another person was taken via ground ambulance, also to receive treatment for severe burns.

The cause of the fire, which caused severe damage to the home’s roof and garage, remains under investigation.
